Foodgazi Goes to Beachwood

We'll be teaching a raw series at the Beachwood Recreation Center this summer. Classes are open to both residents and non-residents. Come on, come all!

Here's a little description of what's on tap:
  • April 21 Intro to Raw Foods: This class is designed for those who are curious about or new to raw foods. Whether you want to lose weight, feel rejuvenated, or have a clearer complexion, this class is a great starting point. Aside from hands-on instruction, samples, and recipes, class includes explanation of what a raw food lifestyle is and examples of how to set up a raw food kitchen and shop for vegetables.
  • May 5 Raw Main Dishes: It can be puzzling to figure out how to make a "main dish" out of raw foods. In this class, we'll take the stigma out of that by transforming nuts and fresh vegetables into filling and tasty meals. This class includes hands-on instruction, samples, and recipes.
  • May 19 Raw Soups & Salads: These mainstays are a key to a successful raw food lifestyle. Quick and flavorful on their own or as part of a multiple-course meal, soups and salads are versatile dishes to add to your raw arsenal. This class includes hands-on instruction, samples, and recipes.
  • June 2 Raw Desserts: Nothing good ever comes from deprivation and just because you're eating more raw foods doesn't mean you've lost your sweet tooth completely! This class delves deep into the healthy indulgence that is a raw dessert. This class includes hands-on instruction, samples, and recipes.

The online flipbook will be updated in the next week or so, which includes payment and location information. We're excited to start this new eating adventure with Beachwood Rec!
